1. Update of the Epson Group Supplier Guidelines (update April 2024)
The Epson Group Supplier Guidelines have been revised to reflect changes to the RBA Code of Conduct that took effect in January 2024. We ask that you please review and follow the latest version (Ver. 8.0) of the guidelines. We also ask that you please provide Epson with an Agreement Letter.

- Please provide Epson with a signed or otherwise approved (seal or chop) Agreement Letter that signifies your company's willingness to comply with the Epson Group Supplier Guidelines (Ver. 8.0).
- Method of submission: Send the Agreement Letter as a PDF file attached to an e-mail sent to your Epson contact person.

3. Provision of an RBA VAP Standard
The RBA provides the VAP Standard as online operations manual with audit criteria for its Validated Assessment Program (VAP).
If you are considering undergoing a VAP audit, please check with the RBA to find out the revision that will be used for your VAP audit.

4. Responsible sourcing of minerals surveys
1. 2025 fiscal year survey
Thank you for your cooperation in the responsible minerals surveys.
We are currently in the process of providing feedback on the results of the survey.
If you have been asked to do additional action to complete the survey, please do so. Please resubmit your completed survey files by the deadline stated in the feedback notification.
The deadline for responses has passed, so if you have not yet submitted your completed survey files, please inform us of the reason for the delay and the date when you can reply.
- What: Surveys will cover 3TG (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold) as well as cobalt.
Depending on the business, we may ask you to also survey minerals other than 3TG and cobalt. - Designated survey forms:
The Extended Mineral Report Template (EMRT) was updated from Rev. 2.0 to Rev. 2.1, effective 17 October 2025. Please use the latest revision of the EMRT when submitting your files.
Note, however, that Rev. 2.0 EMRT files will also be acceptable up to 31 March 2026.

5. RMAP Certified Smelter or Refiner Status Information
Epson provides a tool (Smelter Status Checker) that you can use to check whether smelters are RMAP certified. We also encourage you to use the information that we provide to you about changes in smelter certification status that occurred within the last month. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the content, so if you wish to get more information, please see the information provided by the RMI.
