Country or Region: Finland
Introduction of the Case
Malva is a museum full of art, design, posters and culture, located in Lahti, Finland. Ekho Collective's Ahto is an interactive and multi-sensory artwork located in the atrium. The exhibit encourages visitors to stand in front of the artwork whilst the art interacts around them, creating a full audio visual experience. Seven Epson projectors were used to create the large 16m × 23m exhibit. The artwork also combines a lot of other technology such as motion detection, artificial intelligence and simulation algorithms.
Decision Factor
Epson projectors perform well with this specific art content to create a big impact to visitors. Also, they looked for the future proof product that can be used for other installations and EB-L1755U met the requirements.
Installation
Seven units of EB-L1755U are used to project the one large image on to the 16 meter × 23 meter big wall. In addition, Epson projectors contribute to create a good technical solution combined with other technology.
