Introduction of the Case
Huis Ten Bosch, a famous theme park in Japan installed L30000U projectors for 3D projection mapping to amaze visitors with beautiful, stunningly bright 30,000 lm visuals.
Decision Factor
The deciding factor in choosing Epson was the quality of black that Epson's projectors can reproduce. They felt that Epson's products provided far better contrast than competitors' products. Thanks to better contrast, it has became possible to reproduce deeper black and the halftone color, bringing out the attractions of contents more. These projectors have had a positive effect on the production of new content, because those enable them to reproduce colors that were previously unachievable and provide higher contrast and better color balance than ever before.
Installation
EB-L30000U were installed vertically in the upper deck of a London bus, projecting to the building from a rear window. Those projectors are able to project images in 3D on an entire wall of a building.
Projection mapping is also offered at an indoor theater. Images are projected over a range exceeding 180 degrees with three EB-L1495U, and the EV-105 and a transparent screen are used to reproduce 3D images of dancers and musicians.
