Introduction of the Case
Grundfos chose Epson to transform the atmosphere in their industry museum in Denmark, a museum that tells the story of 75 years of engineering history. Each space has unique lighting installations and projectors have been used to discreetly create innovative and engaging displays to highlight the technologies being exhibited.
Decision Factor
Epson projectors were chosen because of their longevity, their excellent color reproduction and the fact they could be installed discreetly so the content and exhibits are the focus for the visitors, not the projectors. The LightScene EV-100 projectors in particular, blend into the environment so you barely notice them - only the effect they create. The museum has a lot of natural ambient light which meant the projectors needed a high level of brightness. All of the Epson projectors create great images even in bright daylight.
Installation
The museum contains 14 installations showcasing unique inventions. It uses 20x LightScene EV-100, 3x EB-L1750U, 1x EB-L1500UH and 1x EB-L1505UH laser projectors with 3x ELPLU03S lenses. The solutions are discreet and subtle but the results are very powerful.
