Epson at Powerhouse Museum
Country or Region: Australia
Introduction of the Case
The Atmospheric Memory installation at the Powerhouse Museum is an exhibition mixed with historical artifacts and cutting-edge technologies from AI, robotics, mapping and 3D-printing, bringing people an immersive experience filled with light, sound and projected images provided by 23 units of Epson projectors.
Decision Factor
Epson projectors were chosen due to their compact size, weight, and 360 degree orientation for the installation. They also met other requirements, including brightness, a laser light source, networking connectivity, display orientation and a seven-day operation.
Installation
EB-PU2220B allows the creation team to create a room that is 20 × 10 × 12 meters, projecting on all walls and floor and giving enough brightness and blending to minimise shadow due to its flexibility.
