Introduction of the Case

Audiopro, an authorized distributor of more than 50 international professional AV brands, designed and built a new Microsoft Teams conference room using the Epson EB-PQ2216W projector to deliver an ultra-wide 21:9 Microsoft Teams Front Row setup. The goal was to enhance and streamline collaborative meetings across the organization.

Decision Factor

1. 1) Audiopro wanted to take advantage of the custom Teams Front Row layout and its ability to run a 16:9 presentation while still leaving space for remote participants and chat windows. The Epson EB-PQ2216W supports this perfectly by using a custom 21:9 aspect ratio in 4K resolution at an exceptionally large screen size.
2. 2) The EB-PQ2216W delivered excellent contrast and overall image quality on the selected large-format screen.
3. 3) In addition to superior image quality, the EB-PQ2216W offered the remote management features Audiopro required.
4. 4) A 16,000-lumen solution was chosen to ensure a bright, clear display on an ultra-large screen, even in environments with high ambient light.
5. 5) Audiopro has many years of experience using Epson projectors across a wide range of applications, giving them full confidence in the solution even before installation.

Installation

The entire system is custom-built to suit the conference room, combining products from multiple manufacturers to identify the ideal components for the best possible outcome. The solution is enhanced by a 21:9 large-format, high-quality screen from Screen Innovations, cameras from the Belgium-based company Avonic to capture presenter images, and audio equipment from Biamp. Together, these elements create an open and comfortable space that now serves as a showcase for the ideal video conferencing room solution.
