Notice Regarding the Introduction of a Performance-Linked Stock Compensation Plan (Progress of Disclosure Item)

Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, "Epson") resolved the details of a new performance-linked stock compensation plan (hereinafter, the "Plan") at the meeting of its Board of Directors held on April 28, 2016 and announced it as a "Notice Regarding the Introduction of a Performance-Linked Stock Compensation Plan (Details of the Plan)" on the same day.
Based on the contents of the resolution, Epson resolved at the meeting of its Board of Directors held on May 12, 2016, to submit the Plan as a Proposal of the 74th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled to be held on June 28, 2016.
