Epson's GPS modules: small, accurate, power-stingy
Epson’s innovative global positioning system (GPS) modules are key devices for position sensing. These small, accurate, low-power devices support Japan's "Michibiki" Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (satellite 1) and boast world-class reception sensitivity1.
This technology is combined with other technologies such as "Satellite Link," Epson's own high-sensitivity, low-power GPS reception system, to create distinctive products like Trume analog watches, which maintain the correct time by capturing GPS satellite signals and identifying the time zone based on positional information alone.
The built-in GPS modules not only provide advanced functionality, but their small size also improves wearing comfort and design appearance.
