One of the strengths of our robots is their ability to perform combinations of short- and long-distance movements, in sequences such as that indicated by A-to-I sequence in the diagram above. These sorts of distance combinations are used in actual practice, yet catalog specs do not reveal actual performance
An arch motion is used to move directly to a target
You can independently specify the a, b, and z parameters for the arch motion (Jump command).
Parameters a and b specify vertical movement only.

a: Distance of Z axis ascent (retreat) (mm)
b: Distance of Z axis descent (approach) (mm)
z: Horizontal travel height (mm)
Short, full stops with minimal residual vibration
Residual vibration after a robot stops at a target position causes problems.
Vibration makes accurate operation difficult. It also lengthens work time.
Epson robots are capable of coming to a complete stop with low vibration even after traveling at high speed. This makes it easy to advance quickly to the next point.
