HTPS-Panels are the heart of all Epson projectors. Epson has for a long time developed HTPS panels to meet high-definition and high-resolution to realize "natural and beautiful" appearance.

We exhibited a monochrome HTPS panel with 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution, measuring 0.74 inch diagonally. Despite looking at the Microdisplay through some maglification glass, the display produced images without visible pixelation and with smooth gradation due to the use of an analog drive. Many visitors furthermore showed interest in a model of an optical engine for an projector, demonstrating how the projector can reproduce full-colored images.

Thank you for visiting the Epson ULTIMICRON booth!

Going forward, ULTIMICRON will continue to evolve to realize an EVF that displays "natural and beautiful" images.
