Epson Donates Php 1 Million for Typhoon Sendong Relief Efforts

– MANILA, Philippines, December 22, 2011 –

Epson Precision (Philippines) Inc., Philippine Epson Optical Inc., Epson Philippines Corporation and Seiko Epson Corporation announced today that they would donate Php 1 million (approx. US$23,800) to assist Filipino families affected by typhoon Sendong. On December 16, the typhoon struck the southern coastal cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan, causing nearly one thousand people to lose their lives.

Epson wishes to extend its condolences to the affected families, and hopes for the speedy recovery of the areas damaged by the disaster.
