Epson Announces Changes to Executive Officer Lineup


- TOKYO, Japan, April 28, 2011 -

At a meeting of its board of directors, Seiko Epson Corporation ("Epson," TSE: 6724) today determined the following changes to its lineup of executive officers. The changes will take effect on June 20, 2011.

Executive Officer Takashi Oguchi (new appointment)
Executive Officer Shigeki Inoue (new appointment)

* Kazuki Ito has reached the end of his term and will retire from his role as executive officer.


At the meeting of its board of directors held on April 28, 2011, Epson nominated the following candidates for director. Candidates for director and titled director are subject to approval at the company's annual general meeting, which is scheduled to be held on June 20. There will be no changes to the auditor lineup.
