On June 5, the Environmental Site Report 2007 
produced by Singapore Epson Industrial Pte. Ltd. ("SEP") received an Award of Merit at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants' Singapore Environmental and Social Reporting Awards (ACCA SESRA) in the category of Environmental Reporting. SEP began issuing an Environmental Site Report in 2006.
The association's appraisal of the site report stated that it has a very clear policy statement and articulates the management's commitment to sustainability initiatives. It provides a good overview of the organization's environmental policies and identifies key environmental impacts. In addition, the report communicates the organization's legal requirements and compliance status related to environmental, health and safety issues. It also Illustrates the monitoring and measurement of environmental performance, indicating met targets, as well as areas where targets were not achieved.
